Suggestions from someone who's heard it all:

The opening riff from Ray Charles' "What'd I Say", from whence cometh every single opening riff since.

"See You Later Alligator", Bill Haley and the Comets (cf. "One, two, three o'clock, four o'clock rock".)

"I want to hold your HAAAAAAND". If you don't know this, you have no business in this survey.

Almost anything by Chuck Berry.

Opening and subsequent riffs by Keith Richard in "Jumping Jack Flash".

"Truckin" by the "Doodah Man".

Opening riff of "Bad Moon Risin", Creedence

Janice hitting two notes at once.

"Warden Threw a Party at the County Jail". Again, you'd better know.

I'm sure I'll think of more.
