Okay, here are a few: the cocker-spaniel-in-a-blender saxophone solo in Romeo Void's "Never Say Never." Keith Strickland on the doorbell buzzer--"Eep-eep ... eeeeeeep ... eep-eep ... eeeeeep"--in the B-52s' "Rock Lobster." That incredible helicopter-crash sound effect at the beginning of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon." And ooohyeah, the opening crispity crunchity chords of Green Day's "Insomniac," which sounds to me to have roots in Chicago's "Twenty Five or Six to Four."
