Jo Koy was born on June 2, 1971, to an American Air Force officer and a Filipina mother in Tacoma, Washington. Later the family relocated to Las Vegas after his High School education at Spanaway Lake High School.
He then went on to study at Nevada University, Las Vegas but dropped out to become a stand-up comedian. Today, even though Jo is neither as popular nor as rich as Dr. Phil, he is still one of the most notable stand-up comedians in history.
