Malik is the fourth child of six children. Of his five siblings, his brother Abdul Rahman Yoba, who is an actor, writer, and producer is the known person.
Growing up, Malik always had a penchant for acting. He attended City-As-School in Manhattan NY then later went to pursue his acting dreams in HB Studio NY, where he studied acting. Malik was born into a family with strong Muslim beliefs. His parents raised him and his siblings in the Islamic way and it’s good to see that Malik has not departed from the path as he still identifies as a Muslim. Both of his parents are dead so Malik’s immediate family consists only of his siblings.
