He gained popularity with his hit song “Selfish” in 2016 which peaked at number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100, also his feature on the song “Cross Me” by Ed Sheeran, alongside Chance the Rapper.

PnB Rock was robbed and fatally shot at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles near Main Street and Manchester Avenue in South Los Angeles on September 12, 2022.
The Los Angeles Police Department had confirmed that a 17-year old was arrested in connection to the murder of the rapper. Also, a 32-year old woman named Shauntel Trone was arrested for accessory to murder on September 28, 2022.
A third suspect was arrested the following day and he was the father of the first suspect. Freddie Trone was charged with one count of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree robbery, and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.
The underage teen is facing life imprisonment with the possibility of parole if convicted of murder charge. However, the father, Freddie Trone faces life imprisonment without the possibility of parole or worse it can be death penalty.
